Why Paul had to go swimming. |
Mid-August 2009 we did a photo session with the airport employees. The photographs were to show us as a team and will be used in the future for several promotion purposes. And of course we also wanted to show how nicely our Peoples Airport is located – just 300 meters away from Lake Constance.
Okay, how does one show in a photograph the relation between airport, business, and water?
Very easy. One talks one of the employees – in this case our Security Manager Paul Turner dressed in suit and tie – into dropping himself backwards into Lake Constance… and then to return as a dripping wet businessman to his aircraft. There the pilots are already waiting for him with a towel. “I wouldn’t have done it for any other employer,” said Paul during the presentation of the pictures to the entire staff. A nice compliment for the whole team.

This short animation shows how Paul disappears in Lake Constance. And, the pictures prove with how much pleasure our boss really soaked Paul once again.
One picture of the photo session we used right away for the cover of our winter flight schedule 2009/2010. It shows how Paul walks out of Lake Constance, as by coincidence, in the sky overhead the scheduled aircraft from Vienna appeared as it approached the airport. Our People's Team wishes you a good time viewing these pictures.
