 In 2008 the Austrian Airlines Group (Austrian, Austrian Arrows, and Lauda Air) has scored excellent figures for punctuality and flight reliability: In a comparison of all airlines of the AEA (Association of European Airlines) the red-white-red airline achieved top ratings and lies undoubtedly ahead of other renowned airlines with a clear distance.Austrian Airlines is the most punctual long distance carrier in Europe: with a punctuality rate of 86.5% of all flights, the company is in by far exceeding the European average (70.5%) this segment. Spread over the complete route network, Austrian Airlines scores 2nd. With 84.4% Austrian here also exceeds the AEA average (80.1%).
